Letong (Pink) Chen is a multidisciplinary artist and curator bases in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, graduated with an Honours bachelor's degree in Art & Design from Trinity Western University. Chen is dedicated to and has received professional training in contemporary painting, multimedia installation, curation, and critical theory. He has had 3 solo shows and has been featured in 8 group exhibitions in Canada and Germany. He has curated and coordinated with a large amount of exhibitions within the past 2 years. His works explore and experiment with intercultural dialogue within the contemporary context, focusing on topics about beings, co-existence, embodiment, relationship, and viewers' autonomy, etc. He approaches the act of painting as a process through which object and subject, existence and void, abstraction and representation, form and figuration merge.
